This policy explains how Best IPTV Service (“we”) collects and uses personal data when you visit bestiptvservice.co.uk or buy a subscription, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Best IPTV Service is the controller of your personal data. Contact us about privacy at support@bestiptvservice.co.uk.
2. What we collect
- Order and support data: your WhatsApp number and name as shown in WhatsApp, an email address if you give us one, your chosen plan, and the messages you send us.
- Account data: your service username, subscription dates and, for MAG or STB devices, the device MAC address you provide.
- Payment confirmation: a reference confirming payment. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Website data: technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, collected through server logs and, if you consent, analytics cookies.
- Live chat: if you use the chat bubble, messages and basic device information are processed by our chat provider, Crisp.
3. Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To deliver and support your subscription — performance of a contract.
- To send renewal reminders and service notices — legitimate interests.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud or account sharing — legitimate interests.
- To measure website use with analytics cookies — consent.
- To meet tax, accounting and legal obligations — legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with providers that help us run the service — messaging (WhatsApp/Meta), live chat (Crisp), hosting, payment providers and, if enabled, analytics (Google). Some of these process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum. We never sell your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and order data for as long as your subscription is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can handle renewals and queries. Financial records are kept for six years as required by law. Support chats are deleted after 12 months.
6. Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only if enabled and, where required, only with your consent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email support@bestiptvservice.co.uk to make a request; we reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
